Last month I sewed up a zippered sweets pouch as part of Sew Delicious' swap - you can see my pouch here. I was so delighted last week when I got mail from Canada - I got my pouch from my swap partner!
The pouch I got is so well made! My partner, Marsha, did an excellent job.
Details were hand stitched to make them stand out. Fun!
I also got a bunch of yummy sweets! The girls stole all of the coins right away. They thought those were especially cool.
If you're new to sewing, old to sewing, want to meet some fellow sewing ladies (or gents!), or just want to get some free stuff in return for making something fun, then I suggest you do a swap! This swap was the first one I participated in and it was seriously a whole buncha fun! I connected with some really nice and incredibly talented sewing ladies through Instagram and Flickr with this swap.
I'm on the lookout for other swaps, so if you see something, can you let me know? There's a Pin Cushion Swap going on at the Sew Little Pretties blog!

Do those candies say "Wine Gums"??? um...yum! oh, and peppermint patties, my fave. The pouch is adorable too! (sorry I got sidetracked by the food part)
Fantastic! Thanks so much for joining in Wendy - it is the first time I've organised one and it was such a great success due to all the amazing participants! I adore mint chocolates so looks like I will have to get some of my US friends to send me some peppermint patties to try - we can't buy them here in Australia! :)
That is AWESOME!
Both pouches are super cute!!
Very fun :)
I am glad you liked the pouch. I couldn't resist throwing in the chocolate "Loonies".
