Everything in its right place

I have a framed print in my living room that reminds me, every day, that things are just as they should be.

Everything IS in its right place.

I bought that print right after we moved into our house a year ago and it hasn't moved from that spot. I see it every day and I know it's darn true.

Everything is as it should be. Everything is here, everything is right, everything is good. Life has always been good but it got great when we settled into our new house, and things keep getting better. Life is just darn good, and I'm so lucky to say that and to know it deep in my heart. Sure, things get stressful sometimes, life isn't all rainbows and unicorns. It's real and it's sometimes disappointing or angering and stressful and super busy, but, those times are short-lived and happiness returns in no time.

I'm full of thanks this week. Thanks for everything. Thanks for this life I'm living and everyone in it.

I have the rest of the week off work and I have a full agenda of fun times lined up for myself, including plenty of sewing time, time for crafting, time for reading, time for playing with the kids, time for a hot date to see Breaking Dawn with my hot husband, time to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family and time to get a little Christmas shopping in! {I'm INTO Christmas this year, which is odd for me, you know that Halloween is my holiday. I've been playing Christmas music already and I'm counting down the days until we can go get our live tree. Feeling the Christmas magic! But first, Thanksgiving!}

What have you got going on this week? Are you traveling for the holiday? We host Thanksgiving each year. My husband cooks and he's a darn good cook. We're getting a fresh turkey from a local farm, mmmmm!

Have a Happy Thankgiving!
