Last night we saw Radiohead at Riverbend in Cincinnati and it was the single-most fascinatingly awesome show we have ever seen. Words can't even describe how phenomenal it was and I sound like a blubbering idiot when I try to describe it. Our seats were great. The venue was perfect. It was a perfectly cool evening. And Radiohead ROCKED.
This is a bad camera phone pic and doesn't do our seats justice. They were quite good seats. We were almost center of the stage and we were able to see everything that was happening on stage and there was quite a lot happening on stage! There was a huge screen behind the musicians and a screen at the top of the stage. The light show was amazing!
During some of the songs, screens dropped down to the stage. The screens showed footage of the band live as they were playing and the screens moved around and up and down and interacted with the lights and the music. They were really cool. You can see what I mean in the video below when they played Feral:
It was just such an awesome show. We knew it would be a great show but really we were blown away at how great it was. They played a bunch from King of Limbs and also from Kid A. Kid A is my all-time favorite album. I was pretty ecstatic when they played Everything In Its Right Place.
I have been a fan of Radiohead for ages and I'm so so SO glad I got the chance to see them live.
