Of one of the many millions of things I'm most excited about in our new house our front porch tops the list. We've always wanted a front porch!
Here's what the front porch looks like on the model of the house we're building.
We plan to spend a lot of time on our front porch. We can watch the girls ride their bikes. Enjoy sips of iced tea on warm summer evenings. And most of all? We're most looking forward to sitting on that porch during trick-or-treating, giving candy to the kiddies.
I've been gathering ideas for how I want to decorate the porch, mainly for the fall. We'll be moving into the house in September and honestly it's probably the first area I'll decorate!
I've been looking on Etsy for some handmade items that I could purchase. I've found lots! Here's a few:
Rustic bench - We want lots of seating options on the porch. We have a white rocking chair that we'll put out there but I want to add a couple chairs too, or, I really like this bench. The bench is made of reclaimed wood AND has stars on it! Love it.
Braided rug - I am practically salivating over this rug. I love it. I think it would look lovely on the porch (not sure about its weather resistance because it's wool?) and also I'd love one for inside too.
Pillows - our seats need to be comfy with the addition of pillows!
Burlap pumpkin pillow - I really like this pumpkin pillow!
Mason jar lights - I have been seeing these mason jar lights everywhere online lately. My porch needs some. For sure.
