Okay, I am going against my own rules here. I used to be a stickler for NOT doing or buying anything Christmas-related until after Thanksgiving. But darn it, this year I just can't help myself. I think it's because there's so much Christmas stuff out in the stores already, and all over Etsy, people are geared up for the holidays. I've been surfing Etsy this past week and have found some great things to share with you:
In years past I have made our Christmas cards, but this year I decided to buy them from Etsy, to allow myself more time to make Christmas gifts. I love letterpress cards and found these two beauties. They are a bit pricey, but I'm wondering if I can get a bit of a deal from the sellers if I buy a large quantity. I had told Amber last week that I wanted to hug these cards I love them so much, and I meant it! I love the colors and the design. I think it will be a difficult choice between the two to decide which ones to buy. What's your favorite?
I'm so buying this pattern and making a set for the girls. Anyone else want one?
These vinyl letters are removable, so it would be a quick, easy, and unique design element for the holidays. How cute would these be on the wall over the fireplace mantle above the stockings? And a good reminder too for the kiddies to be good.
Fabric Star Ornaments by Summersville - $6.95
Fabric Star Ornaments by Summersville - $6.95Don't you think that yours truly should be making star ornaments for this holiday season? I think so! I am going to shamelessly steal this idea to make some star ornaments for our tree. If these look familiar it's because this seller, Summersville, screenprints her own fabric. Her red house-y fabric is what I used on my house doll. By the way, Lucie, aka Summersville, blogged about my dollie here. Her blog is chuck full of design and fabric goodness!
