The fabric pencil is my nemesis

I am going to cry. Really, I think I just might. I am working on a batch of dolls for a craft show in two weeks. I do the arms of the dolls in assembly line fashion - I trace them all out on my fabric and sew them all at once, then cut them out. I usually use a disappearing ink pen to trace my patterns ... well last night my pen ran out. So I used a water soluble pencil. I traced about 30 arms, sewed them up, and then tried to get the blue marks to come out. THEY WON'T COME OUT! My disappearing ink disappears in 12 hours, so I have never had to worry about them. But these stinking blue marks will not come out! I tried everything, spritzing them, putting them in the washer in cold water, drying them, washing them with soap ... nothing worked. The blue marks are still there. Which means that I cannot use the arms, since the seams have blue lines in them. Boo hoo hoooooo! I will have to go buy a new disappearing pen and re-sew the 30 arms. I have to re-do two hours of work! Waaaaaaaaaah!

Have you tried Tide To Go sticks? They have worked for me at getting things like barbecue sauce and ink stains out of white shirts. It's worth a try...
