Today was a bit better for the craft show. We had more people come through ... but still not many. There were three church services so we had a flux of people after the services, but most of the folks were just walking through to be polite. After 12:30 p.m. there was no. one. there. The show was supposed to run until 3, but the other crafters started packing up at 2 so I did too. I did better today on sales - I sold four dolls and 5 magnets. I got a lot of compliments again on the dolls. People seemed to like the magnets, I'm guessing maybe because of the price? They were $2. For my next show (October 25) I'm going to make more magnets to take with me.
Overall I sold five dolls and 10 magnets. Not quite what I thought I'd do, but it's better than nothing. I'm happy that I went to the craft show - it was a learning experience and I got some great tips from other crafters. I won't do this same craft show next year ... I'm going to try to get into a show that has more craft booths and more customers.
I still have more than 30 dolls, but I don't think I'm going to put them in my Etsy shop right away. It takes a long time to photograph the dolls and get them into the shop. This week I'll be busy with PARTY PREP! The girls' fourth birthday party is this Friday evening!! Yay!
Here's a few pics of my booth today, I added a table and two signs. I think it looks better than Saturday. I'm definetely taking two tables to the show in October.
The dollies had a bit more room to stretch their legs today.
